Overwhelmed with options this 4th of July? No worries, we’ve put together a list of all the best spots to spend the holiday.

Fireworks, Parades and more:

SAN JOSE

  •  Rose, White & Blue Parade: 10 a.m. Rose Garden district parade with 115 entries starts on Dana Avenue and concludes at The Alameda community party site, with live music, food, booths. Free. www.rosewhiteblueparade.com
  • Rotary Centennial Fireworks: Approximately 10:00 P.M. July 4. Free downtown San Jose show at Discovery Meadow, with VTA adding additional light rail and bus service for the event. Safe fireworks in the San Jose community, fun, family-friendly professional fireworks. www.rotaryfireworks.org

SANTA CLARA

  • All-City Picnic and Fireworks Extravaganza: Noon-10 p.m. Free. MOUNTAIN VIEW

  • 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular: 8 PM. $25-$75. Shoreline Amphitheatre. San Francisco Symphony celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon Landing.   • On-the-Water Viewing of July 4th Fireworks: 10 AM - 10:30 PM. 3160 N. MENLO PARK

  • Fourth of July Parade and Celebration: 11:45 AM - 3:00 PM. SAN FRANCISCO

  • Entertainment and Fireworks Extravaganza: 6-10 p.m. San Francisco waterfront. Live music at Aquatic Park, Fisherman’s Wharf and Pier 39 sites before the city’s fireworks show at 9:30 p.m.  Entertainment includes live music and the highlight of the day will be the City and Countyof San Francisco Fireworks Show.
